1. Has ongoing communication with the Executive Director of unit activity, personnel problems, and concerns.

2. Seeks assistance from the Executive Director and HR Director in solving clinical & management problems. Documentation is completed regarding these issues.

3. Schedules meetings (i.e., staff), education, & documentation of the same.

4. Maintains records & statistics for administrative purposes & budget preparation.

5. Responsible for assisting the Executive Director in maintaining adequate supplies & equipment. Assures cost-effective utilization of supplies & equipment.

6. Attends required meetings & participates on committees as directed. Assists in establishing and enforcing continuous quality improvement data collection and activities.

7. Assists with and develops policies, and procedures for implementation of new procedures.

8. Responsible for oversight of materials management, supply ordering, and inventory control

9. Coordinate product trials as needed

10. Completes employee performance evaluations in a timely and thoughtful manner.

11. Enforces policies regarding proper handling of narcotics used in the OR by the staff.

12. Directs the in-service education program for the operating room personnel.

13. Responsible for coaching, performance improvement, and disciplinary actions

14. Responsible for coordination and oversight of the new employee orientation process.
